The first signing for my new book, Newspaper Days, will be held 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at Hastings Books, Music and Video in Joplin.
The book covers my 22 years in journalism, beginning as both editor and advertising salesman for the Newton County News in 1977 until the end of my career in May 1999 at The Carthage Press.

I went to Hasting's today and bought your book. I am very excited to read it. I wanted to chat with you but there were secveral people in line. Good luck with Sales and I will let you know my critique of the book!!!
