Barton County sheriff wins three-way race

Incumbent Barton County Sheriff Mitchell Shaw won a three-way primary race.

Shaw received 1,827 votes to 1,300 for Toby Luce and 505 for Chad McManis.

The county had two other Republican primary races.

In the County Commission race, Ben Reed is the winner with 638 votes to 522 for Rick Fast, 247 for Dana Forst, 171 for Calvin Bunney, and 117 for Jason Harris.

Tammy DeHerrera defeated Christopher Wolf for coroner 1,808 to 1,393.
