Lockwood business owner, employee shot by fired worker

A fired worker at Prairie Mountain Screening in Lockwood was arrested for shooting the business' owner Michael Galer, Jr., 64, of Lockwood, and an employee, Krista Gerster, 28, Lockwood, this morning, according to a KY3 report.

Galer and Gerster are in stable condition at a Springfield hospital.

The fired employee was arrested at his home. The Dade County Prosecuting Attorney is expected to file charges Tuesday.

Nearby Lockwood High School, where 15 girls were attending a volleyball camp, went into a lockdown.
