Thirty-seven Sears stores to close, Joplin store survives again

Sears announced the closing of 37 more stores today, but the store at Joplin's Northpark Mall was not among the cuts.

Approximately 940 Sears stores will still be open after the closings.

The company also announced the closing of 66 K-Mart stores today
