COUNCIL BILL NO. 2018-020
AN ORDINANCE approving an Amended Loan Recipient Agreement by and between the City of Joplin, Missouri, and Able Manufacturing & Assembly, LLC., providing for the loan of up to Seven Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars, No Cents ($715,000.00) from the Economic Development Fund; authorizing the City Manager to execute the Amended Loan Recipient Agreement and other appropriate documents as required therein, by and on behalf of the City of Joplin; and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2018-119
AN ORDINANCE approving the City of Joplin to enter into a change order for the 2018 Resurfacing Project in the amount of Two Hundred Thirty-Six Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-nine and 84/100 dollars ($236,929.84); and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin; and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE approving the contract by and between the City of Joplin and B & D Yardbuilders for the demolition of the structure(s) and clearing of lot area located at 725 Murphy Ave. in the City of Joplin, Missouri, for Two Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($2,000.00); providing how the cost thereof shall be paid; how the assessment thereof shall be made; and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2018-410
AN ORDINANCE: authorizing the City of Joplin to execute a Sub-Recipient Agreement Amendment and Memorandum of Understanding with the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation to provide additional funds necessary to rehabilitate the roof at the existing Advanced Training and Technology Center through the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program in the amount not to exceed Two Hundred Ten Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($210,000.00); authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, the Director of Planning, Development, and Neighborhood Services to execute same on behalf of the City; and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE approving the First Amendment to the 1717 Market Place Tax Increment Financing Plan and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2018-508
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Joplin, Missouri, imposing a use tax for general revenue purposes at the rate of two and five eighths percent (25/8%) for storing, using, or consuming within the City any article of tangible personal property pursuant to the authority granted by and subject to the provisions of Sections 144.600 through 144.761 RSMo; providing for the use tax to be repealed, reduced, or raised in the same amount as any city sales tax is repealed, reduced, or raised; and providing for submission of the proposal to the qualified voters of the City for their approval at the election called and to be held in the City on Tuesday August 7, 2018 and containing an emergency clause.
