The Missouri State Board of Education will officially revoke the teaching license of a Southwest R-5 drama teacher who received a suspended sentence July 6 after pleading guilty to felony charges of statutory rape and sexual contact with a student.
As part of a plea bargain agreement with the Barry County Prosecuting Attorney's office, Chelsie Shiane Leroy, 24, agreed to surrender her license.
Leroy was arrested only 95 days into her teaching career with having sex with a student on two days in what was described as the "little theater" room.
Court documents indicate Leroy began texting the student two or three weeks into the 2018-2019 school year, which led to a kiss. A second kiss on September 20, 2018, led to the first statutory rape act.
Eight days before her arrest, the first-year teacher, who was a graduate of Southwest, was the subject of a feature article in the Barry County Advertiser, in which she said her principal had offered her some advice on replacing the long time drama teacher.
“One of the stipulations of my hiring was that I was to bring my own uniqueness to the program.”

Spending years to obtain a teaching degree and then waste it. She is definitely a paedophile, must be the true reason she went into teaching to begin with, to be close to kids. Sickening.

An Ephebophille is someone attracted to teenagers. And as far as your son being"hurt" . . . . . It's 90% of all teenage boys dream to mess around with a hot teacher. AGAIN I say she was wrong. . . . . But it didn't warp his fragile little mind in the least.
