Hartzler, Graves, Smith among 106 House GOP members signing on to brief supporting Texas A. G. lawsuit

An amicus brief has just been filed in the U. S. Supreme Court favoring Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's efforts to toss out presidential election results in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin due to fraud.

Among the 106 House GOP members signing on to the brief were five from Missouri's delegation- Fourth District Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler, Sixth District Congressman Sam Graves, Third District Blaine Luetkemeyer, Eighth District Congressman Jason Smith and Second District Congresswoman Ann Wagner.

The only Missouri GOP House member who did not sign on to the brief was Seventh District Congressman Billy Long.

The brief includes this statement:

This brief presents [our] concern as Members of Congress, shared by untold millions of their constituents, that the unconstitutional irregularities involved in the 2020 presidential election cast doubt upon its outcome and the integrity of the American system of elections."
