Two more COVID-19 deaths reported in Jasper County

 

The Jasper County Health Department reported two more deaths due to COVID-19 today.

The fatalities were a man in his 70s and a woman in her 50s, according to a department news release and bring the county's total to 79 deaths.

Sixty-five new cases were confirmed and 27 county residents have been hospitalized. Jasper County has recorded 3,768 cases to date.

The statistics do not include Jasper County residents who live in the Joplin city limits.
