A Granby man will be arraigned 1 p.m. November 18 in Newton County Circuit Court on charges of driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to the probable cause statement, Benjamin J. Montez (DOB 1979) was driving intoxicated with a 5-year-old girl in his vehicle who was not wearing a seat belt Saturday when he was stopped by the Newton County Sheriff's Office.
Benjamin also repeated multiple times that he had consumed alcohol and consumed marijuana and knew he was operating while in this condition...
Montez' preliminary breath test showed a blood alcohol content of 0.249.
