The McDonald County Prosecuting Attorney's Office filed a domestic assault charge against a Rocky Comfort man who allegedly stabbed his father with a sword Saturday.
Jonathan Martin (DOB 2003) is being held in the McDonald County Detention Center on $5,000 bond. A bond hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday before Judge John LePage.
According to the probable cause statement, Martin stabbed his father with the sword and when the father attempted to grab the sword he suffered several lacerations on his hand.
The father had an "approximately one inch cut on his stomach, the probable cause statement said.
Martin told the McDonald County Sheriff's Office he began poking his father's stomach with the sword due to a past history of domestic violence, according to the probable cause statement, and that it cut his stomach "due to it being rusty."

He should be just fine with that judge. Isn’t that the same judge that let the serial DWI guy walk countless times? Everything is fine with that judge until you kill somebody in a different county then it’s on that county’s hands!!!
He only sends kids to prison
