The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed two domestic assault charges against a Joplin man today following an incident at a Carl Junction residence.
An arrest warrant was issued for Tierall Devon Sherrick (DOB 1996) with bond set at $100,000.
From the probable cause statement:
Upon Officer arrival, we made contact with VI, who was actively crying and attempting to clean up her bleeding nose and mouth. She had 3 pink/red scratches on her neck and her nose appeared broken; it was severely crooked with a dark purple bruise developing across the bridge.
V1 advised that she was sitting in the open garage vaping when, Tierall Sherrick, her ex-boyfriend and father to three of her children arrived unannounced. Tierall began yelling and calling her obscenities as he approached. VI advised she was in fear for her life and attempted to run into the residence in an attempt to get away from TieraIl; however, before she could fully enter the residence, he grabbed her by her hair and began punching her in the face.
