Neosho R-5 district, schools show improvement on Annual Performance Report

The Neosho School District is proud to share the results of its Annual Performance Report (APR) for the 2024-2025 school year. The APR demonstrate the progress educators, students, parents and the community are making toward meeting the standards and indicators in the sixth iteration of the Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP 6).

The report, released by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), reflects the individual campuses and district’s overall performance.








Neosho School District - 85.5 percent, a 24 percent improvement overall
Benton Elementary School - 31.9 percent improvement
George Washington Carver Elementary School - 22.7 percent improvement
Goodman Elementary School - 28.7 percent improvement
RISE Elementary School - 24.4 percent improvement
South Elementary School - 38.7 percent improvement
Neosho Middle School - 35.8 percent improvement
Neosho Junior High School - 31 percent improvement
Neosho High School - 19.1 percent improvement

The APR measures how well districts and schools are meeting the state’s standards through indicators such as academic achievement, attendance and readiness for life after graduation.

Things have improved since they fired Fretwell and carpenter.

Great Job Neosho School District. The last year hasn't been easy, but look at the results. Keep doing what you are doing and lets see where we can take this district in the future!
