Common Core test scores provided for Joplin area schools

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) released the 2015 MAP scores today. This year was the first time Common Core tests were administered to students.

The scores printed below are for the entire school districts- grades 3 to high school and show the percentage of students who scored proficient or above. The scores listed are for school districts in Jasper,Newton, Barton,and McDonald counties.

Wait.....you mean Webb City is good at something other than sports?!?!?!? Well would you look at that?

I'm glad to see that Webb City, the school district I attended all through school, is so high, but it is disheartening to see so many schools in the area around fifty percent or worse.
