Joplin Islamic Center, Planned Parenthood arsonist sentenced to five years in prison
A federal judge today sentenced Jedediah Stout, 32, Joplin, to five years and three months in prison for the August 6, 2012 burning of the Joplin Islamic Center and the October 4, 2013, fire at the Joplin Planned Parenthood office.
Stout was also sentenced to 12 months on another count for denying access to a clinic. The sentences will be served concurrently.
Stout will be on supervised probation for three years after his sentence and will be required to make restitution of $701,971.55.
