Northern Ottawa County in northeastern Oklahoma... * Until 600 PM CDT * At 525 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 5 miles northeast of Welch, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * Locations in or near the path include... Miami... Commerce... Quapaw... Picher... Peoria... Cardin...
