Toys R Us to close 182 stores, including four in Missouri, Joplin not on list

Toys R Us, still working its way through bankruptcy, filed plans in court to close 182 stores, including four in Missouri.

The Joplin store is not included on the list.

The company will close stores in Columbia, Cape Girardeau, Bridgeton and Chesterfield.

How does Joplin manage to avoid the chopping block when these corporations close stores?

Because Joplin is still a retail hub for smaller cities around us with fewer options to shop.
