Nine cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Newton County over the weekend, according to statistics posted this evening on the Newton County Health Department Facebook page.
The county has had 1,181 cases.
The number of people who are under isolation increased from 121 to 130, while the number hospitalized remained at three.
The statistics do not include Newton County residents who live in the Joplin city limits.
