Joplin confirms 41 new COVID-19 cases


Forty-one COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Joplin over a 24-hour period, bringing the city's total to 3,615, according to statistics posted on the city's COVID-19 dashboard.

Of the cases, 286 are active.

Joplin has been averaging slightly more than 40 cases per day for the past two weeks.

The city has recorded 62 deaths due to COVID-19.
