An Anderson man who is already being held without bond for allegedly forcing a woman to perform oral sex has been charged with forcing another woman to perform the same act.
According to a probable cause statement filed today in McDonald County Circuit Court, Craig A. Ruble, 40, who is being held without bond in the McDonald County Detention Center's committed the crime during the winter of 2024.
The probable cause statement says the woman was invited over to Ruble's place to warm up, fell asleep on his couch and was awakened by "Ruble's genitals in her face." He performed the act until she vomited, then yelled at her and called her names as she fled his home.
The case was investigated by the Anderson Police Department.
The earlier charge involved an act that allegedly took place September 5 when Ruble asked a friend to bring him food, according to the probable cause statement.
When they were inside the residence, Ruble exposed himself to the woman and ordered her to perform oral sex on him, according to the probable cause statement. After 10 to 15 minutes, they were interrupted and the woman was able to flee, the statement said.
From the probable cause statement:
There are reasonable grounds to believe Craig Ruble will not appear at court and poses an ongoing and credible threat to the safety and well being of the victims in this case based on the following: Ruble has a known history to resist arrest, by fleeing, using violence and deception to evade capture. Ruble has been charged multiple times with Domestic Assault and has been convicted of violating an Order of Protection as well as multiple other narcotics charges.
