During a closed session Tuesday, the Joplin R-8 Board of Education accepted the "separation" of a teacher and hired another teacher and hired 41 classified staff members and 27 substitute teachers.
The resignation of another teacher at the end of the current school year was also approved.

I'm sure it is a CJ Huff conspiracy.
I thought the same. I think maybe if you switch to a different position you have to resign and be rehired. Maybe she moved to a para position from another classified position.
