Joplin Writers' Faire scheduled Saturday at Joplin Public Library

I'll be at the Joplin Public Library this Saturday, October 11, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the annual Joplin Writers' Faire.

The library issued the following press release today:

The Joplin Public Library, Friends of the Joplin Public Library, and Post Art Library welcome the public to attend the 9th Annual Joplin Writers’ Faire, which will be held on Saturday, October 11th from 10am-1pm inside the Joplin Public Library (1901 East 20th Street, Joplin, MO).

Our 2025 event includes 45+ local and regional authors, books sales & signings, door prizes, and more. Wander the booths in the Library’s Community Room, Bramlage & Willcoxon Foundation Gallery, and lobby, where you’ll have the chance to meet authors representing a variety of forms and genres.

Established in 2017, the Joplin Writers’ Faire aims to connect all sorts of writers to their existing and potentially new audiences while encouraging community support of local and regional writers. The Joplin Writers’ Faire is an ongoing collaboration between Joplin Public Library and Post Art Library. We thank our 2025 event sponsor, the Friends of the Joplin Public Library, for their continued support.
