Former Joplin man charged with stealing ex-girlfriend's dentures, pickup key


The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed a felony stealing charge today against a Cabool man who allegedly stole his ex-girlfriend's dentures and pickup key.

An arrest warrant was issued for Dustin Michael Hensley (DOB 1979), with bond set at $20,000 surety or $1,500 cash.







From the probable cause statement:

{A Joplin woman} and Hensley were in a romantic relationship and living together. Both parties decided to separate and Hensley was moving out. Hensley took {her} key to her pickup valued at $196 and her dentures (top and bottom) valued at $3,386. {She} asked for her belongings back and Hensley said no. {She} wished to pursue charges.
