Kinnaree Thai Cuisine fails Joplin Health Department inspection, elementary schools pass

Kinnaree Thai Cuisine, 1227 E. 32nd Street, failed its Joplin Health Department inspection Thursday, according to information posted on the department website.

The restaurant had one priority violation and four core violations.

The priority violation was for having the sanitizer concentration in the dish machine at 0 ppm.







The core violations were for the following:

-A food container was uncovered in the reach-in cooler and upright freezer.

- Boxes of food were stored on the kitchen floor.

- A wiping cloth was lying on the preparation surface near the grill.

- A scoop for bulk dry goods did not have a handle.

The following establishments passed inspection:

Holiday Inn: Route 66 Pub and Grill, 3402 Arizona Avenue

Sum'Na Eat, 1218 W 7th Street

Jefferson Elementary School, 130 S. McKinley Street
