The Wednesday edition of The Lamar Democrat touches on the Anderson Guest House fire and explores one connection to Lamar, but totally leaves out the other.
The Democrat notes that one of the victims was former Lamar resident Don Schorzman, 57, but fails to mention Dupont's connection with the Lamar Guest House, which was closed due to numerous safety violations in 1997.
Hopefully, that connection will be addressed in future editions.
