Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (MO-4) has released the following statement regarding the deadly flooding in Missouri’s Fourth District:
“My thoughts and prayers continue to be with the citizens of our district who have been so negatively impacted by the severe flooding that has taken the life of a young man from Richland and has caused widespread property damage. There has been utter devastation in some parts of our district, particularly in Laclede and Pulaski Counties. I urge all citizens to pay close attention to emergency officials who are trying to keep people safe from the raging floodwaters. My office is working with federal, state, and local authorities to meet the needs of our citizens throughout the flooding and its aftermath.”
