New felony charges may be filed soon against Gov. Eric Greitens after Attorney General Josh Hawley announced this morning that his office had uncovered "evidence of potential wrongdoing" in Greitens' dealings with his charity The Mission Continues.
During a press conference, Hawley said evidence indicated Greitens had used the charity's electronic donor list for political fundraising during his successful 2016 campaign.
Greitens could be charged with felony computer tampering, but the attorney general does not have the authority to prosecute the case, Hawley said, adding that he had turned over all information to the St. Louis City Attorney who has jurisdiction. The statute of limitations for prosecuting the offense is rapidly approaching, Hawley said, though he did not specify the deadline.
The information has also been shared with the House Committee investigating Greitens for possible impeachment charges.
Hawley said his office would cooperate with the City Attorney and the House Committee helping in any way it can.
The attorney general said his office is still investigating Greitens' dealjngs with The Mission Continues.

Resign now
If it's good enough for Trump, it's good enough for Greitens. Maybe Greitens should hire Cohen too.
Ron Richard throws Greitens under the bus!
Matt Blunt was a crook as well. Took twelve years of Democrat governors until people trusted the Republicans from 2004 to 2016. Sort of like after Ashcroft and Billy Boob What's his name lead from 1993-2005 with Mel Carnahan and Bob Holden.
Looks like another twelve year stretch is in the works again.
How embarrassing, just keeps getting uglier.
