Turner, Hughes, local authors to appear at Crowder College symposium

I will be in Neosho Wednesday, May 2, for the second annual Crowder College Local Author Symposium. All of my books, including Silver Lining in a Funnel Cloud, 5:41: Stories from the Joplin Tornado, Classroom Confidential and No Child Left Alive, will be on sale at reduced prices and Turner Report t-shirts will also be available.

Nancy Hughes, Lamar, whose columns appear weekly on the Turner Report, will also be there and at this point, 19 authors have signed up.

While books will be available all day long, the writers will also give readings from their books. Mine is scheduled for 1:20 p.m., while Nancy's is scheduled for 11 a.m.
