Former KOAM reporter's teen son dies from injuries sustained in fall

Isaiah Andres, the 16-year-old son of former KOAM reporter Craig Andres died from injuries sustained during a fall that occurred over the weekend in Kansas City.

Andres, who worked in the Joplin area from 1990 to 1993, is a reporter at KSN in Wichita, Kansas.

"Isaiah was a 16-year-old who always gave me a hug every time he saw me," Craig Andres told KSN. "He always told me, 'Dad, I love you.' "



Isaiah Andres was a junior at Peabody-Burns High School, played football and loved to post photos of sunsets on social media.

Grief counselors were available to Peabody-Burns students Monday and Tuesday.
