The Joplin City Council will meet in special session 6 p.m. Monday at City Hall to pass an emergency ordinance accepting the federal grant it has received to reconstruct Taxiway D at the airport and amending the budget to reflect the grant.
The $7.5 million grant is part of the Federal Aviation Administration's Airport Improvement Program.
