Roy Blunt speaks out against Trump tariffs: This will hurt Missouri

Count Sen. Roy Blunt, R-MO, among those who are not backing President Trump's announcement of tariffs against Canada, Mexico and the European Union.

In Kansas City, Blunt noted that "automobiles and agriculture" are the first things that will be retaliated against and that will hurt Missouri.

"Those happen to be two of the things we're really good at."

I'm glad to hear that Senator Blunt is opposing Trump's tariffs. Now I want him to lead instead of follow and speak out strongly against some other Trump policies--like declaring that he has the power to pardon himself of any crime and that he has the power to decide what the Justice Department will and will not investigate. Trump will keep testing the limits of what Americans will tolerate, until Congress stops him. I hope it happens before the Constitution is shredded.

Let us not forget the separation of children from their parents as being done with immigrants. OK, so they came here for asylum or illegally, but separation of children and parents is not OK. This smacks of the German republic in the 30's and 40's and should not be acceptable in America today.
By the way, what does bubba Billy think about what Trump is doing, has done and is thinking of doing these days or is he tied up on the gaming tables in Vegas. What a party we have controlling America and Missouri.

Can't wait to put both Roy Blunt and Trump out of a job, not that either of them have ever actually gotten any work done.
