Judge orders psychiatric examination for Carthage sex offender charged with sexually assaulting underage girl, child porn activities

A federal judge has ordered a psychiatric examination for a Carthage man facing three felony charges involving sexual activity with an underage girl and receiving and distributing child pornography.

In his order, which was issued Friday, Judge David P. Rush said the examination of Victor Alfonso Vasquez, 32, should include his history and present symptoms, results of the tests that are administered to him and an opinion on whether Vasquez is able to assist with his defense.

In her motion, Vasquez' federal public defender Ann M. Koszuth, said her client had a history of mental illness and has been prescribed antipsychotic medications.

According to a detention motion filed by the assistant U. S. Attorney, Vasquez was initially arrested following a Joplin Police Department investigation into a report of a pregnant 14-year-old.

Vasquez allegedly met the defendant over the internet, began a sexual relationship with her when she was 13 and had her sent him nude photos of herself via SnapChat, while also sending photos of his genital area.

Vasquez also has a history of sexual offenses, having pleaded guilty August 12, 2013 in Jasper County Circuit Court to statutory rape and statutory sodomy charges.

32 pleading insanity after raping a girl.

YEAH, Victor.
Getting nude pictures from a 13 year old? You are insane. And so is the karma you're about to receive in prison. RIP Victor's ass 2019-2019

The insanity is how he's been able to keep perpetrating his perversion on children.
