COUNCIL BILL NO. 2019-104

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the City of Joplin to enter into an agreement with Burns and McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc., to conduct a wastewater rate study, in an amount not to exceed Fifty One Thousand Nine Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($51,900.00) for the City of Joplin Sewer system inside and outside the city limits, for the years of 2020 through 2024; authorizing the City Manager to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin; and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the acceptance of an agreement by and between the City of Joplin and Capital Paving & Construction, LLC., for the Reconstruction of Taxiway D at the Joplin Regional Airport; and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the acceptance of an agreement by and between the City of Joplin and Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc., for Construction Observation Services for the Reconstruction of Taxiway D at the Joplin Regional Airport; and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the City of Joplin to enter into an Equipment Transfer Agreement
between the Joplin Regional Airport and the Kirksville Regional Airport for the Rousenbaurer Airwolf ARFF truck; authorizing the City Manager to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin; and containing an emergency clause.

It’s great they passed ordinance to upgrade airport runways. This keeps us in 21st Century for industry procurement, and just being a first class city.
The new routes to Chicago will give us a window to Europe, Eastern Europe, and India, and Africa.
