In wake of the partial government shutdown, Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (MO-04) today requested that the House Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) withhold her Congressional pay “until an appropriation agreement to fund the entire government has taken effect.”
“Even though Members of Congress continue receiving their salary through the ongoing partial government shutdown, many federal workers are not being paid while working hard for the American public,” said Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler.
“I appreciate their efforts and have asked that my pay be held as well until we can get this situation resolved. I will continue to work towards finding a way to fund government fully while also protecting our border. Both are vitally important and can be accomplished if we work together,” added Hartzler.
The CAO has granted Hartzler’s request.

Does anyone have a list of the local Coast Guard garage sales?
Our people need some help!
Does Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler's office has a list of the local Coast Guard authorized garage sales?
Yes, someone does.
Never mind!
The Coast Guard garage sales are shut down just like the orange man has shut down the government!
Coast Guard takes down tip sheet suggesting furloughed employees have garage sales, baby-sit
Orange man?
That is so sweet of her. Does she also intend on covering the medical expenses of people getting sick from uninspected agriculture products hitting the market. What about our dear president hiring 17 new lawyers to defend him from his crime spree during the election? Seems funny you cannot pay people, but it is ok to hire up to 40 new lawyers to defend him and his family for wrongdoings. Our government is sucking badly and our republican leaders will not attend to matters. The wall has no merit according to numerous government agencies and yet the dipstick keeps on his rant for his trolls. Where are the adults??

Asks: "Where are the adults??"
Apparently not here!
I think it would be great if all of Congress didn’t get paid during this. However, I doubt few, if any, would find themselves referring to the list for ideas to make ends meet.
Why just Congress? What about the Senate? The President?
The President has already donated all his wages to others. Pay attention .
11:32, so the Senate should still get paid? Not the President or Congress, just the Senate?
