A motion for bond reduction for Aurora R-8 technical support employee Brian Adams was filed Thursday in Lawrence County Circuit Court.
Adams, 35, Mount Vernon, is being held without bond on felony charges of sexual abuse and sex with a student.
From the motion:
Mr. Adams is 35 years-old and has no prior criminal history. Mr. Adams was previously employed by the Missouri Department of Conservationfor a number of years, prior to beginning employment with the Aurora School
District in July of 2025.
Mr. Adams has been on paid administrative leave since these allegations arose.
Mr. Adams is not a flight risk, as he is a longstanding Missouri resident with family ties to the community.
Mr. Adams is acting responsibly and has hired private Counsel.
Mr. Adams will abide by all conditions of this court.
Defense Counsel respectfully requests this court set a reasonable bond pursuant to the Eighth Amendment and Missouri constitution, such as a $15,000.00 surety bond be set in this matter that includes LBS monitoring to address any concerns the court or the State may have.
Adams' initial appearance is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Monday in Lawrence County Circuit Court.

I must say, there appears to be a conundrum of an over abundance of pervs, druggies, abusers, murderers and thieves that reside in our very neighborhoods. Where the hell is ICE when you need them for something far more productive and constitutional than chasing and abusing anyone not white while acting like hitlers goon squad.
