In her monthly video message, Missouri Education Commissioner Chris Nicastro noted the recent news release issued by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, which said that 70 percent of Missouri schools are in the process of implementing Common Core Standards.
"Common Core is a common sense first step toward assuring students receive the best education possible no matter where they live," Nicastro said.
