Demolition, grading on new Joplin Library site to begin soon

When it meets 6 p.m. Monday, the Joplin City Council is expected to approve a contact with Jeff Asbell Escavating for demolition and grading of the site for the new Joplin Public Library.

The company submitted the low bid of $319,095.50.

The council will have 30 days to issue the order for the company to begin its work. After that, the contract specifies that the work be concluded in 60 days.

Only legitimate card holders may enter.

And, for God's sake, don't let people turn the restrooms into a bathing/grooming area
