City Council agenda includes formal acceptance of Woolston resignation

The most interesting and awaited item on the agenda for the 6 p.m. Monday Joplin City Coiuncil meeting is the last item on the agenda.

That is the time when the council will take formal action to accept the resignation of Mike Woolston and at the same time, accept the wording of the statement provided by Woolston's attorney that absolves him of any of the things of which he has been accused.

Hopefully, that agenda item will at least provided a spirited discussion.

How do these people (Woolston, Huff, etc.) convince everyone that they should just wander off into the night with extra money, protection and no consequences for the mess they left?

I heard that woolstons attorneys fees were paid as part of the agreement.

Time to recall any council member who votes to absolve Woolston as part of any deal.
