Probable cause- Neosho man broke 15-year-old's school laptop, TV, spit on him after teen found his meth


The Newton County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a controlled substance and property damage charges against a Neosho man today.

According to the probable cause statement, Devan Joseph Larman Teas (DOB 1990) threw a 15-year-old's TV and Neosho High School issued Google Chrome laptop on the floor damaging them Tuesday.







From the statement:

Also, a baggie with a white crystal-like substance resembling methamphetamine was found in a recliner in the residence by the 15-year-old juvenile prior to this event. The juvenile then took the baggie to his aunt, and that is what caused the disturbance between Mr. Teas and the juvenile.

Mr. Teas spit in the juvenile's face and also had shoved him during the situation. Teas' first court appearance is scheduled for March 5.
