A McCluer High School student has been arrested after bringing a gun to school, according to KSDK in St. Louis:
According to Jana Shortt, a spokeswoman for the Ferguson-Florissant School District, the student in question told a classmate about the firearm, who then alerted a teacher. The student, a 15-year-old male, was brought to the administration office, his schoolbag searched, and the firearm confiscated.
It remains unclear what the student's motive or intent was in bringing the weapon to campus.
