Student sues Bonner Springs School District after See You at the Pole flyers taken down

See You At the Pole, an annual event, is held at schools in the Joplin School District and throughout the nation.

Students meet before school, on their own time, not during school hours, gather around the flagpole and pray. In the accompanying video, a lawsuit filed by a Bonner Springs School District claims her First Amendment rights were violated when school officials prevented her from handing out flyers and tore down posters she had put up advertising the event because they contained religious verses.

Someone should say a prayer for Bonner Springs school officials.
