Two book signings scheduled for Saturday

Those of you who are interested in picking up some Christmas gifts for the reader in the family (or those who like to read books) have two opportunities Saturday to get signed books from four local authors.

I will be with John Hacker, Becca Haines, and Rodney Blaukat 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Mother Road Coffee on the west side of the Carthage square. I will have copies of 5:41: Stories from the Joplin Tornado, Spirit of Hope, Scars from the Tornado, and No Child Left Alive available.

After that, the four of us will be at Changing Hands Book Shoppe in Joplin from 3 to 5 p.m.
