Two dozen authors set for Authors for the Holidays in Carthage

Naturally, I am going to say that books make Christmas gifts, but I hold that belief whether I am the one who wrote them or not.

Twenty-four area authors are lined up so far for the Carthage Public Library's first Authors for the Holidays, which will be held 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday.

I will be there with copies of 5:41, Let Teachers Teach, Scars from the Tornado, No Child Left Alive, Spirit of Hope, Small Town News, Newspaper Days, and The Turner Report. The last three titles on that list will be on sale for $10 apiece.

The following information is from the Carthage Public Library:

Special Event: Authors For The Holidays, Saturday, December 13, 2014, 10 AM to 12 PM

Please join us to meet & celebrate our local authors. Autographed books make great holiday gifts. Spaces are available - local authors contact the Library at 417-237-7040 to reserve your spot today.
