Billy Long plays PAC-Man in quarterly report, receives more than $187K from special interests, lobbyists

Seventh District Congressman Billy Long received $182,250 from political action committees (PACs) and at least $5,500 from federal and state lobbyists.

Long's quarterly report, filed Friday with the Federal Elcction Commission (FEC), shows he received $220,502.63 during the past three months and spent $172,760, leaving him with $729,728.45 in his campaign account.

The Congressman's expenditures included 66 meals totaling $9,089.93, including $1,121.45.59 for a May 7 meal at the Prime Rib in Washington, D. C., $609.92 for an April 9 meal at the Capitol Hill Club, and $663.30 for another meal at the Prime Rib June 22.

Long reported six meals that cost more than $500.

Thank God! He was looking a little pale and thin there. Now he can get back to Vegas for the buffets! That will give him the strength to make it to the ALEC meetings so they can pay him more bribes to tell him how they want him to vote.

Good gawd. If ur gonna dig that deep into his stuff, how bout all the other politicians. He’s just an easy target. This is lazy reporting. Ur better than this.

That actually doesn't sound like much. What about Congressman Clay and some of our other Democrat congressman? Let's compare their totals with Long.
