Arkansas AG congratulates Hawley on primary win: He will defeat McCaskill in November

Attorney General Josh Hawley has secured the Republican nomination for U.S. senate. He will face-off against Senator Claire McCaskill. Republican Attorneys General Association Chair and Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge offered the following praise after his victory:

“Josh Hawley is a proven conservative who will always put the people of Missouri first. Washington could use Josh’s fresh perspective; he is an outsider who will defend the Constitution and answer to Missourians – not special interests. Josh has been a fantastic attorney general, protecting consumers from fraud and defending the rule of law. While I am proud to have Josh as a colleague, I’m confident he will defeat Senator McCaskill in November.”
