White nearly doubled the vote total of former Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce President Rob O'Brian, collecting 17,473 votes or 64.1 percent to O'Brian's 9,763 votes or 35.9 percent.
White's win came despite the more than $105,000 spent on negative advertising against White by the Senate Conservatives PAC.

Not so fast. Bill White has publicly stated that his first action after taking office would be to reintroduce legislation to make Missouri a "Right to Work" state. I wonder whose pocket this guy is in?
If we don’t get Right to Work; this state will never have another new industry move in again.
This would mean new jobs for working people.
Whoever fights it is costing jobs.

More jobs and businesses will move into the SWMO area as we move to Wind energy actually. Right to Work is horrible. States that have enacted it have the lowest wages out of all the state's, and states without it have the highest wages.
