They don't know who died in the Arrowhead Stadium parking lot this afternoon.
Not the Kansas City police. I am sure the police know exactly who was killed during the confrontation, but KCTV is having a tough night.
At first the station reported that a man and his son had come across another man breaking into their car and the father was killed. The next report said the father lived, but the thief was killed.
The latest report- Different police sources are providing different information on exactly which one of the three men involved in the fight died.
This was the original report
KCTV reports "A man and his son had gone to their vehicle during the game. When they arrived, they found another man rifling through the vehicle and a disturbance broke out. The father apparently died during the fight."
This is the amended report:
This is the amended report:
Police sources tell KCTV5 that a man and his son had gone to their vehicle during the game. When they arrived, they found another man rifling through the vehicle and a fight broke out. The man who apparently did not belong in the vehicle died.
Police officials did not say whether the two in custody were the father and his son or not.
Officers were called to the scene at 5:20 p.m. The game started at 3:25 p.m.
As noted earlier on the Turner Report, this happens one year to the day after Kansas City linebacker Jovan Belcher killed his girlfriend, Kasandra Perkins, then turned the gun on himself in front of Chiefs officials at Arrowhead Stadium.
