Jennifer Martucci releases new ad
In her new advertisement, Joplin R-8 Board of Education candidate Jennifer Martucci calls for bringing spending under control and empowering teachers.
Dear Joplin voters, Judgment Day is coming! If you want your school district to change for what may be better, then YOU MUST VOTE, Existing board members OUT! If there are not enough votes, then you will see only changes for worse conditions in your schools. There is another number of experienced teachers that will be leaving this summer. Some of these teachers have Master Degrees, some have Specialist Degrees and Some have Administration Degrees. This WILL affect the quality of education that the children of Joplin will be getting in the future. I am not saying anything against new teachers. God Bless them for getting education to be able to teach the next generations of children. Experienced teachers are necessary to assist new teachers in learning what they do not teach at the universities. The current administration has fired or otherwise caused a great loss in experienced teachers. Be it known that Columbus, Kansas reportedly pays as much as $8000 per year more for teachers than Joplin. Too bad there are not many openings in nearby districts so more teachers could make a more livable salary. VOTE VOTE VOTE FOR A NEW BOARD A NEW SUPERINTENDENT AND A NEW ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF. GIVE JOPLIN R-8 STUDENTS A CHANCE FOR A BETTER EDUCATION!!!
