Judge David P. Rush ordered Mark Burdge, 49, to be held without bond while awaiting trial.
Burdge's crimes allegedly took place between May 9, 2018 and July 18, 2019, according to the indictment.
In a detention filed Thursday, the U. S. Attorney said multiple weapons and 4,000 rounds of ammunition were found execution of a search warrant at Burdge's residenc

Pretty sure Mark is 49, not 39. Went to school with him in Seneca if it's the same Mark.
Regardless of the charges he faces, Mark Burge is one of the most decent human beings on the planet. Mark has a heart of gold. The very ones that put Marks name on the radar are by far more of a threat to the people of Joplin that Mark ever was. Mark is on of thr best people I have ever met.
Decent human beings do not deal meth. Especially when there are minors involved.

To the person that said decent human beings dont deal meth among children . the child in question did not livecthere and zmark went out of his way to keep that part of his life separate. Mark cane from a good family but he grew up poor and when he became addicted to the drug he also became addicted to the money that came with it. And witg that monwy Nark helped out many people that he knew and was always giving literslly the shirt off his back! So you teally dont know what you are talking about because Mark has a giant heart! And was and still is a decent human being! Cso why dont u not speak on something you know absolutely nothing avout! Judge ye not!!
Good people do not deal meth. Is this really up for debate? You defend him by saying he is poor and an addict. Plenty of poor people don't commit crimes that contribute to the decay of communities. Would a good guy make money from helping other people become an addict? No. A good guy would realize that his actions were ruining other people's life. Defending vermin who pump that junk into our community puts you on the same level as your so called good guy. My brother died as an addict because some good guy was just in a bad situation and sd him meth. So why don't you take your own advice and not speak on things you know nothing about.

He would give you the shirt off his back... for a baggy of meth. People who use are all self centered leeches who are constantly looking for opportunity. He may give you the shirt off his back but it wouldn't be without some kind of restitution at some point. It is sickening to read people defending a meth dealer... not a user but a dealer.

It is laughable that you point out that he is such a great person that he was considerate enough to try to keep his drug dealing seperate from his involvement with children. He apparently didn't do a very good job at it, but at least he tried.
Where did this guy's mom or wife or boyfriend or whoever it was go that was defending him? That was some of the funniest stuff I have read in a while.
Whiile you all make you comments about Mark, what kind of secrets do you hide? What is your Achilles heel? The more new I read and watch, the more I realize we are defective in some way shape or form. I am not his mommy,(she has passed) and I am not his father (he has passed also), but I am not afraid to tell you hypocritical pen warriors that he is a brother to me, and many others. I am one of the many he has helped, without any expectation of reciprocation. He is a spiritual man with friends and family who love him. Please try and remember that before you cast your unsolicited opinions. Addiction is a disease, I know I've suffered from it myself for 20 years. Do you chastise your family or friends for their diabetes? Even if they have chosen the diet that brought on the disease.
I don't want to waste anymore time writing to no one, time I'd precious and I would trade the existence of the majority of you to have Mark back home with us. You take someone of his caliber of kindness and friendship out of an area, the void that is left is felt for a long time.
Mark the man is a very good person and yes with a very big heart who has unfortunately made some bad choices and decisions but, whom hasn't at one time or another? No dealing drugs in no way was right and he is paying for those bad choices. And as far as the child it was his mother that put them into that situation not Mark but, instead of her paying for that very unforgiving decision Mark is among his other charges. Yes he was wrong but he was also at one time a very decent man and still could be!
