So you want to be a McKinley Elementary principal

The Joplin R-8 School District posted an opening for McKinley Elementary principal this morning which would indicate that one topic on the agenda for the closed session the board held today was officially accepting the resignation of Brian Olivera, who had been principal since the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year.

Former North Middle School Principal Barbara Cox is serving as interim principal until someone is hired.
