More walking for Troy Onstott, working on regaining balance

The recovery process continues at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City for Troy Onstott, 10, son of T. J. and Jill Onstott, Lamar, with more positive steps, literally, as you can see in the embedded Facebook post at the bottom.
'
Three weeks have passed since Troy was injured in an ATV accident.

Day 20:

We pray. And we pray some more.

Music has been a great outlet for us. Troy seems to really engage and it seems to settle him. Y’all have sent me some really good stuff that I’ve added to our playlist. So thank you!

Update:

Troy already knocked out the puréed foods and graduated to soft foods. Mashed potatoes please! And look at that walking.

Drs have discussed adding a brace to his right foot until he gains the strength in his upper leg to clear his step.

He still has a significant amount of balance to regain but he will get there. If you didn’t notice in the video, (see embedded Facebook post below) he has started to initiate movement in his right arm, and his left arm is paying more attention to it. This was only his first day in the pool focusing on upper body. Miracles every day, He promises.

God - in the middle of this war, you guard my soul. In the middle of this hospital room, you give us peach, a peace that can only come from you. I will give you full control always, and I pray that TJ and Troy have the strength to do the same. I’m so proud to call this man my husband. You know his weakness. Keep his eyes looking forward Lord, knowing he can not change what has happened. Your miracles today speaks volumes of your greatness. And we’re forever grateful.

You know my heart for two girls here with us at Children’s Mercy, (BLISS & LEAH), and of course for our very own sweet (JOSIE GIRL). Lord I’m asking that you place these girls in the hearts of Troy’s prayer warriors tonight. You know their needs, we ask that you wrap these girls in your arms tight. Let them lay down their burdens onto you Lord.
AMEN
